Restaurant Review: Le Soufflé Restaurant

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, four ladies got together to enjoy one another’s company. Of course, food had to be consumed – and with four bloggers and the table, and three of us foodies, not one photo was taken of the lunch. We were having such a great time chatting, sitting outside on the veranda, we hardly thought about photo’s. I had French Onion soup for lunch, knowing I would be going out for supper that night. The soup was thick and delicious and something I am not going to try at home as Dave does not enjoy it.  This was my second visit to Le Soufflé and I highly recommend the crème brûlée – two of these were ordered as well as:

This chocolate soufflé satisfied all of my sweet tooth needs, and I could not finish it. This is for sharing! The main course soufflés are the same size, and well worth the 35 minute wait.

Lunch including tip was R100 per head.

Contact them on 011 465 4116 –  bookings not essential.

PS this was the motivation for this week’s challenge to bake a Soufflé – if you are going to participate please post your Soufflé by Friday!
