  2. Boy do I know the feeling associated with not having enough water, not actually something I thought I would ever have to consider.
Ginger is a go to in a lot of my cooking and always in my smoothies, totally makes it feel like its a bazillion times healthier huh?

  4. Oh wow! Such a wonderful info, I didn’t know that ginger is the part of the same family as galangal, turmeric, and cardamom. This smoothie looks so delish.

    • We are no longer getting free water to try and get people to use less. We are using as little as possible so I’m praying for snow.

  7. This sounds delicious! I love ginger. But jeez, that’s a serious drought! I live in southern California and supposedly we just recently overcame our years’-long drought. I hope you guys get some snow and get out of yours too!

  8. Tandy,

Your sustainability practices are to be commended! I love that you think about your water use and you try to find ways to optimize it. I wish more people would just like you. I also love ginger.

  10. this looks very green! but i can’t stomach only green smoothies, and the sweetness from the apple, carrot and honey sound like a nice mix with the rest of the veggies and ginger (: hoping you guys get a bit more water soon! i live in california, and we’ve had a drought for a couple of years; there was so much rain here that we’re finally creeping out. it’s weird (but good!) to see green hills instead of the dried brown ones i usually drive by.
