  1. these sound delicious! thumbprint cookies (more of a sugar cookie, but with the same indent/filling concept) were my favorite things to make when i was little, and i bet i would love these even more. i’d like nut butter and jam in mine, for a very pb&j vibe (:

  2. Scarlett sounds like a treasure, my mom always used to say this to will pass, hope she grows out of the teething phase soon. Lovely biscuits, I love to use both nut butter and jam on my biscuits:)

  3. This is a nice recipe, TAndy. I wouldn’t have thought of adding jam or nut butter in the middle. Your recipe is not very different from mine except I use sugar.

  4. Oh boy, your doggy adventures and weird eating habits are crazy, she sure has a strong mind and knows exactly the sort of retribution the humans require to make her point huh. On the other hand, your shortbread looks wonderful.

  5. I’m gonna have to say Jam…such a great combo with crumbly shortbread. Boxers are just the best dogs!

  6. I feel your doggy-borne frustration. My darling old wolfhound, who died a few weeks back, chewed up thousands of dollars worth of hoses, tap fittings, taps, shoes, riding boots, horse kit etc before getting through her bored teething stage.
It was all very stressful – and these biscuits with a cup of tea would have been just the remedy for me!
