Regional And Seasonal Challenge: Use Bell Peppers
This week, the regional and seasonal challenge is to use Bell Peppers. You might know these as capsicums if you live in Australia. The challenge is to use them in any dish. Please link back to my blog if you do the challenge, and let me know in the comment section if you have participated. I love how there are different words for the same ingredients. In South Africa we refer to them as peppers and in Australia, capsicums. In Italian they are called peperoni which could be quite confusing as some people only think of that word as being a sausage. One of my favourite ways to prepare pepperoni, which are elongated capsicums, is to roast them. I then peel the skin off and drizzle with olive oil. Nothing more than that is needed to make a delicious antipasto. I will eat raw bell peppers as long as they are not green!

There is still time to get your name into the draw for the Taste of Cape Town ticket give away!
