We have been so busy and I am indulging in food. Here is a photograph of our Christmas 2010 meal.
As you can see, I decided on an Italian theme for our meal. I served an antipasti platter with cured meats from Italy, cheese and olives. This was followed by crayfish as there are the perfect indulgent ingredient for a feast. On our table was lots of red wine, crackers for pulling and some lavender from my garden. I used Christmas cake as the name place markers and we had a simple sit down meal for four people. Nothing too elaborate as it is summer here and who wants to cook in the heat?
Wishing you all an amazing 2011. May it hold all that you need. My wish for you is sweet dreams, excellent meals and days filled with wonder. If you make a resolution or two, I trust it is one that you can achieve without stress. Let life come first and be in the moment. For me I am looking forward to only good things. Time out with Dave, travelling and days of sunshine. Long walks on the beach and lazy evenings indulging in good food.
