I’m quite proud that I actually knew most of these! Happy Friday!
that is fantastic 🙂
I really miss Pinky’s quizzes. I’m getting out of practice. 😉
I am hoping she will be back soon!
Stew with a roux. I love the toothpick trick.
It really works!
Thanks Tandy! That was fun. I also have never heard of the toothpick trick.
my mother taught me that one 🙂
I didn’t know the toothpick trick either! Thanks
I don’t know why but, I always like to know how people boil there eggs. Maybe because I always hear new tricks. I never heard of toothpicks in the water. I have let them sit in warm water to bring them down to room temp before boiling
I used to use that method, but now we have an egg boiler and I don’t have to worry about the eggs cracking anymore 🙂
The toothpick trick is a new one for me as well. Take care, BAM
Hope you have a great week 🙂
Wow, that really was a great quiz. I have about three lines of enquiry now to follow up with Google… and seriously? People call hazelnuts dilberts?
Some answers may not be right! Hopefully the dilbert one is correct 🙂
Very interesting post, Tandy!
