NYPD Red 6, James Patterson & Marshall Karp

NYPD Red 6 opening lines: It took Bobby a week to decide where to park. It had to be close to the wedding, but not too close.

NYPD Red 6

My blurb:

Erin Easton is an influencer. One who has got used to the high life and the big money. So when she gets abducted at her wedding and a ransom comes through, it is not a surprise. She has just married a man whose mother is extremely wealthy. Kylie MacDonald and Zach Jordan are tasked to find her. But things are not as straight forward as they seem, and they have to think outside of the box to figure out what really is at play here.

NYPD Red 6
In the sixth book in James Patterson’s NYPD Red series, the wedding of the century invites the most brazen kidnapper in New York City to make the bride disappear.
At the wedding of the century, a brazen kidnapper steals the star of the show…
Erin Easton’s wedding in one of New York’s biggest venues may have a TV crew documenting every extravagant detail, but when the bride disappears from the reception, it’s no diva turn. Her dressing room is empty except for a blood-spattered wedding dress.
Detective Kylie MacDonald of NYPD Red, already at the scene as a plus-one, brings in her partner, Detective Zach Jordan, to search for the missing bride. Unable to rule anything out, every A-list celebrity on the guest list has to be considered either a target of suspicion . . . or a target.
My verdict:

I really enjoy the NYPD Red series of books and the plot of this one is interesting. In the day and age where influencers need to be in the limelight in order to earn money, the story line is believable.
