Run, Rose, Run, Dolly Parton And James Patterson

Run, Rose, Run opening line: The Louis Seize-style mirror in the bedroom of suite 409 at the Aquitaine Hotel reflected for little more than an instant a slim, fine-featured woman: wide blue eyes, clenched fists, dark hair streaming behind her as she ran.

My blurb:

AnnieLee has a voice made for singing, and the courage to chase after her dreams. But when she makes it big, her past comes knocking. And AnnieLee runs. Not away from danger, but right into the heart of it.

Run, Rose, Run
Every song tells a story.
She’s a star on the rise, singing about the hard life behind her.
She’s also on the run. Find a future, lose a past.
Nashville is where she’s come to claim her destiny. It’s also where the darkness she’s fled might find her. And destroy her.
My verdict:

This is a love story about the love of music, and the love for music. And about burgeoning love between two people who both have pasts that have caused so much hurt. If you are a country music fan, or a fan of Dolly Parton, this novel is for you. And if you enjoy a good love story, then you will enjoy this read.
