Tapas Tomatoes Chicken With Wine

I made tapas tomatoes chicken with leftovers.

This blog post follows on from my Tapas Tomatoes post even though it has not appeared in my blogging timeline in that order. I usually try and write a post a day – but as I am quite ahead of myself in blogging (even though I am behind date wise) I have quite a few posts scheduled in my draft folder. My tapas tomatoes recipe was entered into the Food24.com Vinatics Competition. I sent an email with the link to Cathy who deals with the wine side, and Caro who deals with the food side on food24, with my entry. Unfortunately, the reply for Cathy sent by Caro came to my email address by mistake. And I was hurt and upset that I was spoken about in such a manner ostensibly behind my back. So upset, that this is the first blog post I have actually written for ten days as my blogging words have left me. A throwaway remark seems to have hit an arrow into a fragile part of me. I have forgiven Caro her words, but the fact remains that her words took away my mojo. Words once spoken can never be taken back. I hope that my words never cause hurt nor harm. In the same way I speak only positive things I hope my recipes are a positive as well.

  1. Hi Tandy! I’m afraid I’m a little left-handed with wordpress features. I was quite sure to be following a few blogs because I pressed the follow tab up there in the black line to your left. But then apparently that’s not enough to receive email with the new posts… Sorry about that. Now I’m following you properly. Very nice recipe by the way, I’m glad your mojo is back! Have a nice day 🙂

  2. Tandy I do understand how misplaced words can drive you underground and I am so glad you are back up and at’em. Sometimes written words are harder to deal with than spoken ones I think. But you are a strong, beautiful and wonderfully forgiving woman. Your chicken sounds lovely. c

    1. thank you for those amazing words – and please tell your son I am shouting for the All Blacks now that Bryce Lawrence beat the Boks last weekend 🙂

  3. Ummm, Las Tapas mira muy deliciosas …
You have never had a bad post …
I think there are too many Niche Bitches, please forgive the french, and self appointed blog police out there who need to clean up their own post before they start sweeping other peoples steps.
    Bless You …

  4. You´ve had a tough time lately with the nasty comment brigade – what is it with them? Glad you´ve put it behind you and are still posting and writing such great recipes. A great big raspberry to the nasty folk!

  5. Oooo Tandy this sounds divine! Must try it 🙂 Sorry to hear about the comments, I’m not sure what’s wrong with people…they must be deeply insecure to make throwaway comments of that nature. You’re dedicated and thoughtful and I’m always glad to read your posts 🙂

    All the best!

I would ♥ to hear from you (comments will be visible when I reply)
