Pomegranate And Gingerade

Make this syrup for a refreshing summer drink
Author: an original recipe from Lavender and Lime

Ingredients

  • 200 g fructose
  • 300 mls pomegranate juice
  • 20 g ginger thinly sliced, plus extra for garnishing

Instructions

  • Place the fructose, juice and ginger into a sauce pan
  • Bring to a boil over a medium to high temperature, stirring until the fructose has dissolved
  • Reduce the temperature and simmer for about an hour, until thickened
  • Remove from the heat and set aside to cool
  • Strain the syrup and pour into a sterilized glass jar

to use

  • For every 100mls of soda water use 10mls of syrup
  • Garnish with ginger if you would like
