Chocolate Marmalade Marble Cake

  • Preheat the oven to 180° Celsius
  • Prepare a rectangular baking tin
  • Melt the chocolate over a double boiler
  • Cream the butter and the sugar
  • Add the marmalade and mix in
  • Add the eggs one at a time mixing in each one completely before adding the next one
  • Add the baking powder
  • Add the flour a tablespoon at a time
  • Mix until the batter is smooth
  • Pour the batter into the baking tin
  • Pour in the melted chocolate and run the spatula through the batter to mix the chocolate through the mix
  • Bake for 30 minutes and allow to cool before removing from the tin
