Herby Tartar Sauce

Ingredients

  • 140 g herbed mayonnaise *
  • 15 mls capers, chopped
  • 5 mls lemon juice
  • 2.5 mls Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pickled gherkin, finely chopped

Method

  • Place the mayonnaise into a bowl and add the capers, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and gherkins
  • Mix well to combine and leave to stand for at least an hour for the flavours to develop

Notes

* if you do not have herbed mayonnaise, make your own by taking 135g mayonnaise and adding 5g finely chopped soft herbs of your choice.
