Orange Cake
Use any oranges that are in season to make this

Ingredients

flour, sifted

baking powder, sifted

fine salt, sifted

fructose
3
oranges, zest and 250mls juice,
plus a few orange slices to decorate *

canola oil

Method
Preheat the oven to 180° Celsius
Place the flour, baking powder and salt into a stand mixer bowl and whisk to combine
Add the fructose and give it another whisk
Place the orange zest, orange juice, oil and egg into a mixing bowl and whisk to combine
Add to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth
Pour the batter into a lined loaf tin and place into the oven to bake for 60 minutes
Remove the tin from the oven and place onto a wire rack to cool
When the tin is cool, tip the cake out and decorate with some oranges slices
Notes
* you will see I have used grapefruit slices as the recipe called for blood oranges to decorate and they were not in season.
