Cross Hairs opening line: Adam Glossner had to work hard to conceal his smile, sitting on the edge of his three-year-old son’s tiny bed.
My blurb:
Rob Trilling thrived in the Army, but he is not doing as well as part of the NYPD. He has been moved into another role, the third one and he is not sure why. But being partnered with Michael Bennett seems like a good thing. Until Michael suspects him of being the very person they are trying to catch. Will Rob’s need to see out the mission prove to be his undoing?
Cross Hairs
How do you catch a killer who leaves no trace? In New York City, a sniper dubbed ‘The Longshot Killer’ is taking out impossible targets.Nothing links the victims – except the brutal circumstances of their deaths.Detective Michael Bennett quickly develops a profile of the killer. Great with a gun. Probably ex-military.A profile that his new partner, Rob Trilling, fits to a terrifying degree. With Trilling taking ever more suspicious absences from duty, Bennett must find out the truth – before the Longshot Killer strikes again.
My verdict:
I started this book on a Saturday afternoon, and did not put it down until it was finished, several hours later. What a fantastic read, and another great book in the Michael Bennett series co-authored by James O. Born.

You’ve made the book sound very exciting, Tandy. Thanks for posting your review. Wishing you a great new week. Hugs.
Thank you, and the same to you!
Starting a book and not putting it down until it was finished is all the recommendation I need.
Let me know if you read it!
Hi Tandy, this book sounds good. I could never sit and read for that long. I can’t even read blogs for longer than about 1 hour and then I’ve had enough. I read for about 1 hour a day too.
I usually only read for a short time, but this book was a proper page turner 🙂
