I have 25 double tickets to give away on my blog to the Taste of Christmas event. Celebrate the Festive Season with South Africa’s inaugural Pick n Pay Taste of Christmas – where inspired entertaining gets a glamorous holiday makeover from 7-9 December 2012 at the Coca-Cola Dome in Northgate, Johannesburg.
Brought to you by Taste Festivals South Africa, the organisers behind Pick n Pay’s Taste of Cape Town, Durban and Joburg festivals, the Pick n Pay Taste of Christmas will feature a selection of the city’s top restaurants serving up seasonal menus designed to inspire and excite the senses. Between scrumptious bites, some of our best chefs will help you finesse your summer entertaining, refine that ambitious festive menu and prepare you for the ultimate season of extravagance.
Says Taste Festivals Director Justine Drake, “Pick n Pay Taste of Christmas is a celebration of the festive season combining the best of the holidays with oodles of eating, drinking and shopping, a dash of old fashioned goodwill and loads of Christmas cheer.”
At Pick n Pay Taste of Christmas, an incredible range of artisan producers, top notch ingredients and boutique suppliers will all showcase their finest wares giving you a one-stop shop for everything you need to make this Festive Season a memorable one; from cheese, food and wine for your Christmas table, gastronomic gifts for the foodie who has everything, essential ingredients or perhaps a new way of doing things, Pick n Pay Taste of Christmas will make this Festive Season one to remember.

‘ I eat and drink for living, so how bad can it be?!’ As long as you don’t take yourself, food or the media too seriously you’ll always have fun – and that, I think, is what life is all about.’
