Mission Impossible
Mission Impossible: I’ve been absent lately, but Tandy has asked me to do this months “I made it challenge”
I thought it should be difficult, none of this “make a chocolate pudding” malarky for you lot. something with some meat to it. or should I say…. without any meat to it….
so – theme music please.. and cue:
du du du… du du du… du du du dudu… doodle doo… doodle doo….
your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make Tofu. Then you must take your homemade Tofu and make a TASTY VEGAN meal with it. emphasis on Tasty. as in “Yummy, that was nice” as opposed to what people usually say about vegan meals, which I shall not repeat here.
so, it’s not mission impossible, but it’s as close as it gets in the kitchen….
TA TA TA… TA TA TA… DADADA… TOODLE… TOODLE TOO TOODLE TOO…. TOOOODLE…
In order to take part you must follow the rules below:
- you must link back to this post in your post
- you must include the widget in your post:
You have until midnight at the end of the month to post your recipe. Basically, have fun!
Dee Dee Dee….. Dee Dee Dee…. Dee Dee Dee DO DO… DO DODO DO DODO DO TO…
This message will self destruct in 5 seconds…

That sounds like fun! I’ve never made tofu before! 🙂
Me either, and I am scared!
Oh this sounds like a great challenge, however I might not be able to take part. Unfortunately I don’t eat Tofu, and time is a factor this month, however I will definitely make the effort and ask one of my vegan friend to taste. Will keep you updated!
Again, what an awesome idea! xx
Dave does not eat tofu either, and he will have to have dinner at Alex and at home – poor man!
I have just made my first ever batch of Tofu, and it’s not too hard… whats more it’s not a white blob of congealed elephant snot like the stuff you get from woolies…. it tastes good too. I think I might be able to do something with this…
I should not admit this, but I don’t even know what Tofu is made of… something about soya bean curd rings a bell? Which recipe did you use? I won’t be making it, but I’d love to see who did what and how.
So far only Alex has made it and I am hoping he will share his recipe on Saturday. It is soya bean curd and I bought the beans but they are still in my cupboard 😉
