Did you know that WordPress allows you to travel back in time? Last month I posted my IMK share on the 3rd of February 2022, but published it with the 2nd as the date. I did not even realize I had missed scheduling the post and could not understand why it wanted me to hit publish when I am used to using the schedule button! You live and learn as the saying goes.
Not so much on the savoury side in February 2022
I started off the month sharing a recipe for minted yoghurt dressing. And ended off the month with one for leek and potato soup. Both were part of a reviews of recipe books. I also made a bourbon and orange glazed gammon with a gammon gifted to me by SA Pork.
On the sweet side
First, a huge batch of tea panna cotta was made, together with a baked chocolate mousse. Hannah and I made passion fruit ice cream and we baked a roasted plum cake. I baked orange and cranberry shortbread which were divine!
New In My Kitchen in February 2022
In order to make my tea panna cotta I needed some tea. I chose this Sinterklaasje Day Time Blend from Simon Lévelt when we were in Rotterdam. This is a fruit tea made from dried fruits and does not contain caffeine.
This is my March submission to the #IMK series hosted by Sherry. Each month bloggers around the world gather to share what is new in their kitchens.
Inspiration published on Lavender and Lime March 2:

there’s always something new to learn about WP…
After all this time it is great to learn something new 🙂
Your recipes this month look quite delicious. I love anything with plums.

After reading your post this morning I can see why xx
hi tandy
yes Blogger has its own schedule too I find, and uses U.S. time even tho I have input my own timezone. Grrrr! Thanks for joining in IMK; I appreciate your support each and every month. Love your recipes – the fish cakes really appeal. take care as ‘sunny’ Brisbane dries out after the floods. cheers

Sadly, the fishcakes were not made by me. Glad thing are drying out xx
The panna cotta sounds amazing. I haven’t made that in years!
Thankfully it was a success as I made 24 of them 😉
I could go for any of the sweets right now! WordPress changed the way they format and edit and i was too confused. I know lots of other people adjusted but i moved my two blogs to Blogspot. The fruit tea is something I would like to try.
I know they changed the editing, but thankfully I learnt how to revert to the Classic as the new format was a pain.
I love the idea of pannacotta but I always think it’ll collapse into a puddle when I take them out so I’m scared of the disappointment 🙂 I had to google what a gammon was.. what a name!
I was amazed they worked as I really did not think there was enough gelatine in it 🙂
