Gone Before Goodbye opening lines: I don’t hear the scream. The nurse does. So does the anesthesiologist. I am too deep in the zone, the zone I can only enter in an operating theatre, when a sternum is cracked open like this, and my hands are inside the boy’s chest.

My verdict:
Gone Before Goodbye was co-authored by Reese Witherspoon, and I can highly recommend this book. The novel was full of suspense, as well as the realities people face when dealing with grief. And what possibilities exist out there to support people who have lost loved ones.

Don’t think I have read anything from him yet…need to update my Kindle soon :-))
He is a fantastic author 🙂
My friend Sandrine read it and she told me she enjoyed it immensely. Is there is something that Reese Witherspoon cannot do?… By the way, this reminds me that a 3rd and new season of Big Little Lies is coming out soon, I can’t wait to watch it. Cheers, ~Nessa
I wonder if we will get that here?
Wow, now that’s a compelling opening. I’m skeptical of the AI theme, but the writing does sound good… I may just give it a go.
This was an excellent read! I hope you try it 🙂
The opening lines are certainly weird and attention grabbing. This co-authoring trend to keep milking a known author brand and characters has become a trend.
It really is becoming more common!
