Recipes that caught my eye:
- Lazy Scones (p14)
- German Pizza (p21)
- Nachos (p22)
- Easy Cheesy Salami Bread (p28)
- Perfect Pasta (p35)
- Sweet and Sticky Chicken (p47)
- Berry Smoothie (p58)
- Lemonade (p60)

What I made:
I started off with the salami bread as a friend had gifted us some venison salami. It proved the perfect slice for lunch, and a great snack with our evening drinks. As I have a smoothie every morning I decided to make that as my second recipe for testing. This was a simple and tasty start to my day.
My impressions:
The book has really good photographs and easy to understand instructions. As it is aimed at young children, the methods are very simple.

How cute! I love that there are more resources for getting kids interested in cooking early. It’s such an essential skill, and a fun activity to share, at that.
It really is an important life skill 🙂
