Holmes, Margaret and Poe opening line: The vacant industrial space that Realtor Gretchen Wik was trying to unload was located in a recently gentrified Brooklyn neighborhood called Bushwick.
My blurb:
Meet Brendan Holmes, Margaret Marple and Auguste Poe. Three new private investigators who have high demands. And garner high interest. Not only from their clients, but from law enforcement. With a unique office space and unique investigative methods, these three are gathering a lot of cases. Their fees are high, but that makes them even more in demand than one would expect.
Holmes, Margaret and Poe
Brendan Holmes, Margaret Marple and Auguste Poe run the most in-demand private investigation agency in New York City.
The three detectives make a formidable team, solving a series of seemingly impossible crimes which expose the dark underbelly of the city – from a priceless art theft, high-stakes kidnapping and a decades-old unsolved murder, to a gruesome subterranean prison and corruption and bribery at the highest levels of power. But it’s not long before their headline-grabbing breakthroughs, unconventional methods – and untraceable pasts – attract the attention of the NYPD and the FBI.After all, it’s no surprise that there’s a mystery or two to unravel in the city that never sleeps . . . not least, who really are Holmes, Margaret and Poe?
My verdict:
I felt the book co-authored by Brian Sitts was a little bit all over the place. But it was an enjoyable read nonetheless. Pick up a copy if you are a fan of Richard Osman.

Way back when when I either w
was more organized or attempting to accomplish a more sensible amount during my day . . . methinks I had read all of Patterson’s books. To be honest these co-operative efforts seem largely to have a financial background . . . I dunno 🙂 !
He does a lot of collaborative work!
Hi Tandy, this sounds good. I think I’ll try it. Thanks for the review.
If you want a copy of it let me know! My mom can always get it to you somehow 🙂
