Manhunt opening line: My entire brood, plus Mary Catherine and my grandfather, gathered in the living room.
My blurb:
Would you call it being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or the right place at the right time. When a truck slams into people watching the Thanksgiving Parade in New York and narrowly misses Detective Bennet he takes it personally. Michael believes he was at the right place, just at a really bad time. But his first hand knowledge will help him solve this crime.
Manhunt
Michael Bennett, be grateful you’re alive. Someone attacked the Thanksgiving Day Parade directly in front of Michael Bennett and his family. The television news called it ‘holiday terror’ – Michael Bennett calls it personal. The hunt is on…
My verdict:
I am not sure how many of the Michael Bennet novels I have read, but this is the first time I realized all of his children were adopted! This did not detract from a great short story that followed on from Ambush.

So true.
