NYPD Red 4 opening line: Leopold Bassett flitted across the room to where his brother, Maxwell, was quietly nursing a glass of wine.
My Blurb:
I made a serious error when reading books last year. One of them was to not write the reviews as soon as I read the book. NYPD Red 4 has been sitting on my desk for a year! I can remember that the storyline was great and there were some twists in the tale.
NYPD Red 4
A jewel heist. A murdered actress. A killer case for NYPD Red. In a city where crime never sleeps, NYPD Red is the elite task force called in when a case involves the rich, famous and connected. Detectives Zach Jordan and Kylie MacDonald are the best of the best – brilliant and tireless investigators who will stop at nothing to catch a criminal, even if it means antagonising the same powerful people they’re supposed to be helping. When a glitzy movie premiere is the scene of a shocking murder and high-stakes robbery, NYPD Red gets the call. In a hunt that takes Zach and Kylie from celebrity penthouses to the depths of Manhattan’s criminal underworld, they have to find the cold-blooded killer – before he strikes again.
My verdict:
Following on from NYPD Red 3 this book had me gripped from the start. Without a doubt I can highly recommend this series. I cannot wait for the next installment from James Patterson and Marshall Karp.

I have to agree with you. The NYPD Red series has been a page turner. I would recommend all four books in the series. What I have trouble getting my head around is how James Patterson manages to give so many of his works, both his own and the collaborations, such gripping flow and compelling narrative. His fame is well-deserved.
You are so right Earle!
Oooohhh this looks awesome Tandy. A bit of everything. Thanks for the recommendation.
My pleasure 🙂
Sounds like a wonderful read, in fact the whole series does. Great review Tandy.
Thanks Cheri 🙂
