What I made:
I made the Tuscan chicken bake which was seriously delicious! So much so that I plan on making this when we are barging in France later on in the year. I served this with the Mediterranean roast vegetables which were perfect for me. I chose to make the Basque cheesecakes as I had a friend celebrating a birthday and I knew she would enjoy them. My ability to line the baking tray was not as successful as the cheesecakes were. Even Dave enjoyed them, and this is by far one of his least favourite desserts. The yoghurt fridge tart was a must make for me, as this is a dessert I love from a local retailer. This is so easy to do, and I did not follow the recipe exactly. I plan on making this again as it was so good.

My impressions:
There are interesting little notes on some of the recipes as well as QR codes. which takes you to YouTube videos. Some pages are not numbered which could be frustrating if you use the index. Overall, I think this is a really good recipe book.

I have not met the lady yet, not even heard her name . . . but the dish you made looks come-hitherish and her recipes seem to travel around the world with her own touches . . . must go take a look at what she talks about to her followers . . .
this was the first I had heard of her as well 🙂
I’ve actually made a Greek chicken bake tonight. So easy and delicious. I’d have to agree with your hubby re cheesecake. Not a fave of mine either 🙂

I hope you will be sharing the recipe!
I certainly would love to tray that Tuscan chicken bake! Can’t persuade my husband to enjoy cheese either..
I hope you make the chicken dish when I share the recipe 🙂
This sounds like a good book for a beginner cook. Good recipes, and good advice.
It would be perfect for someone just starting off in the kitchen 🙂
The chicken and veggies look like a delicious meal. The cookbook sounds like a keeper.
That meal was extremely delicious!
Sounds like a good balance between inspirational and practical recipes. I’ll have to check it out!
Let me know your thoughts if you manage to find a copy 🙂
The chicken must not only be good hut easy if you will be making it on your barge holiday,
Fairly easy enough to do it on the barge, but we do have an oven which helps 🙂
I’m not familiar with the author, but I will certainly look into her. Sounds like a book that my daughter in law would enjoy.
Let me know if you find a copy 🙂
The mini cheesecakes and the chicken dish both look really good.
Thanks so much!
