A Twisted Love Story opening lines: Wes can’t get the song out of his head. It plays on a loop, over and over, until he finds himself humming it out loud.
My blurb:
There is a detective poking around in Ivy and Wes’s relationship. Karen is basing her assumptions on how her own relationship worked out. But she is not far off when it comes to knowing something happened. What she didn’t factor in was Heath, Ivy’s best friend. Is he the real person she should be focussing her attention on?
A Twisted Love Story
Wes and Ivy are madly in love. It’s the kind of romance people write stories about. But what kind of story?Because when it’s good, it’s very very good. But when it’s bad, it’s bad.But their breakneck cycle of catastrophic vengeful break-ups and head-over-heels reconnections needs to end fast. Because suddenly, Wes and Ivy have a common enemy – and she’s a detective. One wrong move will be fatal – so if Wes and Ivy can’t stick together, this break-up might just be their last.
My verdict:
Some relationships are just not meant to be! But I was not sure if it was the one between Ivy and Wes. And because of that, I could not wait to get to the end and unravel the reason they kept breaking up. A great read from Samantha Downing.
