Ready Steady Cook Challenge

Ready Steady Cook Challenge

With ushering in a new year I am also going to be changing a few things on my blog. The first change will be my weekly food challenge. These will now become monthly food challenges and I will issue them the first Wednesday of every month. There will be a deadline for each challenge for the last day of the month at midnight. If there is a prize or give away with the challenge, this will be announced with the following month’s challenge, together with the previous challenge round up. My challenges are open to any blogger anywhere in the world. The first challenge for the year is the ready steady cook challenge.

The blogger version is similar to the TV version. Each person will be assigned a blogger to give a mystery bag of 7 ingredients to. I will provide the list of pantry ingredients and from your bag, you have to come up with a starter, main course and dessert.

The deadline for submitting your name for this challenge is the 10th of January. Please complete the form below if you would like to take part. Please note, a pantry ingredient is something that is non perishable.

  1. This is a great idea Tandy. I have family with me until the end of January so most of my time will be taken up away from the kitchen – crossing fingers that I can take part next time around.
    🙂 Mandy

  2. This is awesome!! I am super excited to take part!!! This year I am going to make more of an effort to do more challenges and be more involved in blogland!!!

  3. This is such a fun and wonderful idea, Tandy!! I’m hoping I’ll be able to take part as well, but it’s been crazy busy lately! If I’m not able to this time around, I’m with Mandy–I’d love to next time!

  4. Should be great fun – to read about! Watch the other suckers. er, bloggers, trying to produce three courses from chick peas, garilic, tripe, sardines, maize meal, leeks and mangel wurzels.

I would ♥ to hear from you (comments will be visible when I reply)
