Triple Cross, James Patterson

Triple Cross opening line: Suzanne Liu lived for days like this, days when her world seemed like a great game and the sweet smell of opportunity and cash hung in the air like lavender and sage.

Triple Cross

My blurb:

Alex Cross and John Sampson are trying to hunt down ‘the Family Man. A killer who targets entire families, seemingly at random. They will take all the help they can get, but when author Thomas Tull offers his insights, they are sceptical. Could they be dealing with the worst type of serial killer? One who creates a persona just to fulfill a personal agenda? Or is some mad man on the loose killing people just because he wants to? Alex is determined to catch this man before he destroys even more families.

Triple Cross
Detective Alex Cross is chasing an elusive murderer called ‘The Family Man’ in the 30th instalment of the bestselling Alex Cross series.
They strike under cover of darkness, trigger no alarms, and leave no evidence behind.
Detective Alex Cross is hunting a killer who targets families around Washington, DC. But Cross isn’t the only one investigating.
A charismatic true-crime author has spotted patterns in the actions of ‘The Family Man’ that others have missed.
It’s up to Cross to determine whether the writer’s theories are fact or fiction.
My verdict:

Human pathology continues to intrigue in this series of books. Alex Cross and John Sampson have a unique relationship which allows them to see things other people would not find possible. Another great book by James Patterson, a truly prolific author.
