Watching You opening line: DC Rose Pelham kneels down; she can see something behind the kitchen door, just in front of the bin.
My blurb:
The noise in Joey’s head has finally stopped. She has a plan – to move back to Bristol with her husband Alfie. They will find a nice flat to live in and she will cook meals for them. But in order to that, she needs a job. And until she finds one, they are living with her brother and sister-in-law. One day she catches sight of her neighbour and becomes obsessed. She cannot stop watching him, his house and his car. But she is not the only one watching. Or the only one obsessing.
Watching You
You’re back home after four years working abroad, new husband in tow. You’re keen to find a place of your own. But for now you’re crashing in your big brother’s spare room. That’s when you meet the man next door. He’s the head teacher at the local school. Twice your age. Extraordinarily attractive. You find yourself watching him.All the time. But you never dreamed that your innocent crush might become a deadly obsession.Or that someone is watching you.
My verdict:
Lisa Jewell once again excites with her writing. This is a well written novel which will not leave you guessing until the end. But one you will finish, just to get the whole story.

Really creepy from a female perspective, Tandy.
Very!
Ooh that sounds suspenseful! I haven’t read any of her books yet but they sound good.
This was good!
