I love Taste Restaurant not only for the good food and the lovely atmosphere, but because Ed and Anton always welcome us with open arms, a hug and a friendly smile. Ed is an amazing host, and Anton comes up with some amazing creations in his restaurant.
As from the 5th of September, Taste will open for lunch at Bilton Wine Estate, offering light lunches, tapas and platters. From the 1st of October this menu will be extended to include picnics.
On the 1st of December Taste will move completely out of their current venue and you will be able to enjoy their meals during lunch time, and a few evenings a week, at Bilton.
Taste Eatery and Picnics will be located on the Annandale Road, Lynedoch, not too far from where they are now. If you need to contact Ed after the 30th of November you can do so on his cell phone: 083 429 6456.
Dave and I wish Ed and Anton well as they grow their business and move to a stunning location. Bilton has a superb wine maker and if you manage to meet him, be sure to ask for a cellar tour.
