A Year In Review 2016
2016 was an interesting year for me, and for Lavender and Lime. I admit to nearly throwing in the towel as my scheduled posts started catching up with my days. And my inspiration ran dry. A well deserved break from cooking, baking and blogging has renewed my spirits. I am looking forward to what the year will bring. And this is a great time to reflect a year in review 2016.
I still cannot find the time to dedicate to this. Last year I saved 713 pins. These were seen by 104 431 people. 513 people saved my pins to their boards and 1022 people clicked on my pins. Not too bad for so little effort.
Blog comments
More than 203 people left a total of 4491 comments on my blog. I would like to give a shout out to Lorraine and Cheri for all their support over the years. And to everyone else who takes the time to read and comment on my blog, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Visitors and Views
45 858 people stopped in to visit my blog a total of 70 812 times in 2016. Most of my visitors come from the USA. In 2016 my top blog post was my recipe for guava ice cream followed by my interview with Justine Drake
My little space online continues to grow and I get to ‘meet’ so many interesting people. 2017 is going to be full of travel and I hope to expand my blog into a little bit more of that in the future. If there is anything specific you would like to see here please let me know. It can be a recipe or destination or just some general advice.

It is perfect for the heat wave!
That was fun statistical review. I think we all go trough that’throwing in the towel’ phase once in a while. Glad you stuck it out and here is to a delicious 2017.
Thanks Evelyne 🙂
