It is time for International Scone Week 2023! My recipe for olive oil scones is still one of the most popular on my blog. Created in 2017 for this occasion, it has had over 34 000 views. That is a lot of baking 🙂
A little bit about this
Starting in 2011, bloggers around the world gathered to make scones. To see how they came together, take a look at Celia’s post. She is the original hostess of this baking extravaganza, and if you want to read more about saving the planet or baking bread, head on over to her blog.

A wonderful idea
Thanks Sheree 🙂
I’ll have to put my thinking cap on.
looking forward to what you come up with!
Wow! That’s a lot of sone lovers! I’m just not one of them. They’re too dry for my liking.
that is why they usually need so much cream 😉
I have made scones already and will post it during scone week!
I was hoping you would save them for this 🙂
Tandy I’m excited about scone week coming up. I love scones, as you know. I’ve been a bit quiet on the blogging scene, because of travel and then illness, so this will be great to revive my cooking mojo. Hope you are well.
Sorry to hear you have been ill! I trust you are fully healed now 🙂
So sorry to have missed #ISW2023 this year. I did bake my scones yesterday, so just about got in there in time. I love this event as it always gets me to come up with a new recipe and it’s so interesting to see what everyone else has baked too. Lots of scone recipes to try is always a good thing. I’ll be posting my recipe tomorrow. Thank you, as always, for hosting.
Looking forward to seeing what you came up with 🙂
