Private Dublin opening lines: Thunderous applause filled the auditorium, and the filmmakers beamed as through the claps and cheers were dollar bills.
My blurb:
Jack Morgan has flown to Ireland to hopefully put a stop to Propaganda Tre. He thought they were done with them in Monaco, but it turns out, he was wrong. So many things are just not working out for him, and he is thwarted at every turn. Not knowing who to trust, he brings his circle in tighter and tighter, until he can say that the job is done.
Private Dublin
The culprit escapes and boards a plane to Dublin, Ireland.Jack Morgan, the head of the world’s largest private detective agency, is at the premiere and his partner Justine is badly wounded in the shooting.Following the gunman to Dublin, Jack soon realises that this is much bigger than a single shooter. What Jack thought was a random act of violence was actually a targeted attempt on his life.To ensure the safety of those he loves most, Jack must find the person who is so intent on his downfall – and eliminate them once and for all.
My verdict:
Having not read Private Monaco, I was at a little bit of a loss as to what was going on. I would suggest you read that first before starting on this well written novel. The story line Adam Hamdy has created in collaboration with James Patterson is very engaging.
