For the Zespri® 14 Day Challenge, we were tasked to use 2 kiwi fruit a day. I have endeavoured to stick to this part of the challenge by creating recipes that use no more than 2 kiwi fruit. Today is day 9 of the challenge and I hope that I have overwhelmed you with quality posts about kiwi, and that you don’t all feel exasperated by the quantity of posts I have done. I love sorbet as I consider it a guilt free treat. Yesterday I came home after training at gym and quickly whipped up this kiwi and orange sorbet. Due to time constraints I did not chill the juice over night and I did not freeze the sorbet before taking my photograph. The light was not brilliant as we are still in the throws of a wet winter but I wanted to share this with you. The zest from the orange and the seeds from the kiwi add some lovely texture to the sorbet and I reduced the ratio of sugar syrup in this recipe as I had a really nice large, sweet orange. I had two helpings of my kiwi and orange sorbet yesterday, and there is still a generous amount left in the freezer that I can treat myself to during the week.
Do you consider sorbet a guilt free treat, or a full on dessert?

Wow, what a beautiful looking sorbet!! I love kiwi, so this is right up my alley!
Thank you!
Absolutely delicious idea. There are mountains of kiwi fruit in the shops and I never buy them. I’ll have to check this out.
I find it amazing how much kiwi is sold in Europe – enjoy!
Beautiful!
Thank you Tammy 🙂
Looks lovely and I to adore sorbet as a treat or dessert!
Thanks Tanya 🙂
Your sorbets sound delcious – must start making them too. I don’t have an ice-cream machine, but I usually manage without for my orange sorbet, so hopefully this would also work jsut with a couple of beatings as it freezes?
It will work perfectly using your method Kit 🙂
I definitely think of Sorbet as a guilt free treat, unless there’s chocolate involved.. then I only feel a little guilty. 😉
Well, as chocolate is meant to be healthy for you a chocolate sorbet has to be a good treat!
You are on a kiwi high,!!!I am all for that!
That sums it up perfectly Sophie 🙂
