Dave and I went to @kenforrestervineyards to do a Chenin tasting. We have been drinking their wines for years but this was our first visit to the estate. Do not arrive an hour before they close and expect to do a tasting. It's just not possible. And do expect to pay for your tasting even if you buy wine. #cheninblanc #chenin #buysouthafricanwine #drinksouthafricanwine #buylocal #wine #winetasting #jobssaveslives #IHearYou #ISeeYou #HowCanIHelp #LavenderAndLime

Dinner on Saturday night was at the @longtablerestaurant at @haskellvineyards. The vines are full of grapes and we walked to the lookout point before our meal. We enjoyed the seafood bisque, chicken liver parfait, garden salad, gnocchi and slow roasted lamb shoulder. All with a very refreshing chardonnay. My dessert was a total let down. Service from Eddie was excellent. And as you can see, the setting is stunning. #eatlocal #eatout #visitsouthafrica #jobssaveslives #stellenbosch #IHearYou #ISeeYou #HowCanIHelp #LavenderAndLime
