It is time for International Scone Week 2024! My recipe for olive oil scones is still one of the most popular on my blog. Created in 2017 for this occasion, it gets over 100 views every week. That is a lot of baking 🙂

A little bit about this
Starting in 2011, bloggers around the world gathered to make scones. To see how they came together, take a look at Celia’s post. She is the original hostess of this baking extravaganza, and if you want to read more about saving the planet or baking bread, head on over to her blog.

I have 2 if not 3 recipes for scone week!
That is awesome, thank you 🙂
I’m not a scone person – I’ve made them maybe 2 or 3 times. But now I started thinking of whipping up a batch, perhaps with lavender 🙂
Lovely, Tandy. I haven’t made scones for ages.
Looking forward to your recipes 🙂
I think you should have the title as queen of scones. 😊😊

Cannot wait to see what you make!
These sound wonderful!
Thanks 🙂
Those are lot of views and the scones definitely look the way they should be.
I love scones a lot (mostly with fruits) and have made a couple of times since we started getting berries.
I hope you take part in this 🙂

Yay I baked sweet potato, cheese and herb scones this year. Thanks for the scone inspiration – they were so amazing. I am so impressed you continue to host international scone week – it is always a joy to see what others have made. And I am glad to be back after missing it last year with lots of crazy stuff happening!
