Not a Happy Family opening line: There are many expensive houses here in Brecken Hill, an enclave on the edge of Aylesford, in the Hudson Valley.

My verdict:

I love Shari Lapena’s writing and each one of her books that I have read have been fantastic. This one is not as dark as the others. But it will keep you in suspense, right to the very end. Expect twists and turns and the obvious.
