I used the unsweetened Almond Breeze to make almond milk chai. This is a great source of Calcium and Vitamins A, D and E and as a bonus is cholesterol and dairy free.
Head straight on to the Recipe For Almond Milk Chai ♥
Last month at work we got slammed with orders. It was such a great way to start the month but exhausting at the same time. It came about when one of the companies who sells in opposition to us closed down. They had been given an amazing opportunity by one of our suppliers to be an agent for them in the area. They did not have to go out and look for customers and merely handled the taking of orders and delivering of stock. From this they grew their business and at one stage approached me to work in tandem with us. We are a wholesale distributor and sell thousands of line items. After our initial meeting and before I could make them an offer which would have been mutually beneficial they chose to not continue with the discussions.

Five years later with them closing down we had an opportunity to service their customers. We grabbed this bull by both horns and from mid-morning on the Monday to early morning on the Thursday the 3 of us had worked like demons. My branch is a small operation. We all work dual roles and my staff are brilliant. Travel overseas for me is possible knowing they have everything in control. I was glad that the rush came before we went away but it meant that the week prior to us leaving was exhausting. My sleep was also not that good, and I made plenty of mugs of this Almond Breeze Chai. I prefer using unsweetened almond milk so I can add as much honey as I want. Do you drink almond milk with honey or do you buy the sweetened version?

Good for you for taking on that opportunity. Things like that don’t come around that often 🙂
No they don’t 🙂
this sounds like just the kind of thing that would power me through! gently spiced with a hint of sweet, it sounds perfect (especially because it’s unseasonably cold at the moment). i get lazy and buy sweetened almond milk, but i really should get unsweetened and add honey/maple syrup to taste since i’m sure it’s healthier!
Hope it gets warmer soon Heather 🙂
Yum this sounds so comforting and like the perfect before-bed drink 🙂
Exactly my feeling right now as it’s cold at night.

Thanks!
I’m so excited about this easy recipe. I love chai but I can rarely find an unsweetened variety. I hadn’t thought to use almond milk and will prefer a non-dairy for my vegan kid anyway.
I am slowly coming to love almond milk 🙂
Great job by takig that bull by the horns! And the vaca was well deserved after. That milk would sooth the soul for sure.
