Every morning I have fruit for breakfast. Sometimes it is something as simple as an apple, and other times I actually make myself a fruit salad. I would love to juice every morning but I seem to often run out of time. The one thing that I can enjoy every morning is a smoothie. I make them the night before and bring them with me to work. I enjoy any type of smoothie but I have a few requirements when making them. The first is that I do not use ice! I don’t have ice in any of my drinks as I do not enjoy the way ice dilutes the flavour of what I am drinking. The other is that I make a pure fruit smoothie. I would add yoghurt to the smoothie if I were drinking them straight away, but for breakfast I prefer to leave the yoghurt out, as the smoothie spends a fair amount of time on my desk before I finish it. I always use frozen banana for my smoothies as it adds a nice creaminess and flavour, and if I am drinking the smoothie straight away, it replaces the ice one would normally use. Today’s smoothie is a simple mixture of kiwi, banana and strawberry and I can promise you that it tastes good!

Hi Tandy! Early Saturday morning and woke up to grey skies and rain. A summery and sunny smoothie recipe comes just in time! I love smoothies of any kind. Thanks for the tip of using a sliced frozen banana, clever!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you! I wish you a stunning weekend as well 🙂
I usually seem to make banana and blueberry smoothies but this version looks so tempting! And I think kiwifruit would add a really nice texture to it 🙂
I must try one with blueberries 🙂
A divine 4some of great flavours, Tandy!
Thank you Sophie!
Love the specks of pink and blue =)
The vibrant colours let you know its healthy for you!
I love smoothies too. Not had one today yet. I need to stock up on fruit first. Although I do have some berries in the freezer.
Your smoothies always inspire me to make one!
Looks like a funfair in a glass. I favour mango, lime, yoghurt and honey especially when the alphonso mango season is here.
I must try that when mangoes are in season, it sounds delicious 🙂
We love our almost daily smoothies too — this looks divine!
Thank you Kiran 🙂
