2026 International Scone Week

It is time for International Scone Week 2026! There are thirty three scone recipes on my blog, the most popular of which is now my courgette and and feta scones.

2026 International Scone Week

A little bit about this

For quite some time now, bloggers around the world have gathered to bake scones. To see how they came together, take a look at Celia’s post. She is the original hostess of this baking extravaganza. Together with Heidi and Joanna, she decided that it would be a great thing to do annually. The first International Scone Week was held in 2011, and we’ve been happily baking scones in the second full week of August ever since.

How to take part

No matter where you are, or what style of blog you have, you are invited to take part in the 2026 International Scone week #ISW2026. Please follow these steps in order to be featured in the link up.

  • Create and blog a scone recipe and post it anytime from the 10th to the 16th of August. (If you have an older post from this year that you wish to link up, please do so).
  • Your recipe can be for sweet or savoury scones, and they can be shaped any which way you prefer.
  • Link back to this post in your blog post.
  • Use the hashtag #ISW2026 in your social media

Everyone will be featured for the year in the sidebar of my blog. If you are in need of inspiration then take a look to see what was baked last year. The 2025 recipes will stay up until the 17th of August.

  1. Good luck to you and those who bake alongside you . . . of course the virtually non-baker me always thought there were . . . well, just scones 🙂 !

  2. Scones always make me think of my mom! They were one of the first things I successfully baked for her and as a result, made them often. I’d love to share these with her too!

  3. Tandy your feta and zucchini scones sound and look so delicious, I love a savoury scone, and a sweet one too. I have a simple scone recipe up my sleeve to post, which I baked just before we left for Cairns. I am away from home again, so see how I go with a second one. So good that you continue to honour Scone Week. Cheers, Pauline
