Sometimes, only chocolate will do! This is a sentiment from Jamie Oliver that I totally agree with. Dave and I have chocolate every evening after dinner. And these chocolate orange pots from Eat Yourself Healthy were the perfect treat. They are sweet, tangy and utterly delicious according to both Jamie and Dave!

Creating calendars
I do not spend much time on social media, but when I do, the most interesting Apps appear in my feed. One was for a travel app, where you can share an itinerary between travel companions. As we are travelling with friends in September, I thought this was a great idea. That was, until I downloaded the App. It was not very user friendly, and so I decided to see what I could do in my iCalendar. As Bev as I both use an iPhone it made sense to create a calendar I could share with her. Now, her bookings are in both of our calendars, and I can leave her notes in real time. This is so much easier than the Google Sheet I create for all of our trips. Because it was so simple, I created another calendar for Dave and I for our joint plans.
Joint contribution
I usually let Dave select one recipe from each book I get to review. But when it came to Veg, I chose the ones I loved. Dave has been watching Jamie Oliver’s show on TV and he really liked the look of these chocolate orange pots. I was quite surprised as I did not think tofu would be something he would choose to eat. He most certainly has not favoured it in savoury dishes. But, because he asked me to make this I went straight out and bought the ingredients. I like that this is a healthy dessert. And that it was so easy to make. I do suggest chopping the dates first before adding them to the blender. This will make the sweet treat smoother. Not that I minded the texture at all with a few chewy bits of dates.

I agree!
Glad to know that 🙂
These pots sound like the perfect after‑dinner treat.
I love how you and Dave enjoy a bit of chocolate every evening — such a sweet ritual.
It really is a lovely treat 🙂
Tandy – this sounds different to any dessert I have ever made or had . . . I may not be a ‘desserty’ person, but I really want to know how this tastes! Dates, tofu and yoghurt . . . all favourites . . . wow! And – so quick and easy to make 🙂 !
It is quite unique in taste because of the cocoa and yoghurt 🙂
I made a chocolate mousse with tofu a while ago. Delicious. Orange would be great with it.
Sherry
It was delicious!
They look pretty awesome!
Thank you so much!
Yes, I have tried chocolate and orange with tofu, and it tastes really good. We love having chocolate after dinner too.
I am so glad you have tried something like this 🙂
Agreed, chocolate sometimes will only due! This delicious and decadent dessert would be a hit in my house.
hope you make it!
I love these ingredients!!!
Hope you make this!
That sounds and looks so delicious! I’m always down for a tofu pudding. I especially like how this one is sweetened with dates; it’s the ideal sort of healthy treat.
For sure!
Looks delicious, Tandy! Chocolate and orange are one of my favourite flavour combinations.
Mine too!
Orange and Chocolate go so well together, they are part of my comfort plavors year round. I have never baked with tofu before so this recipe really interests me especially if it is from Jamie Oliver. I really like everything he does. ~Nessa
P.S. I love the shared icalendar option, I use it all the time with my husband. Also one great thing you can do for your trip in September is to create a “new list” on Google map and invite your friend ; that way all of you can flag places where you want to go eat and visit. It’s a pretty cool option if you have not used it before.
I have done the map thing already! And I have added a gazillion places to Paris alone haha 🙂
Using your I calendar is a good move. It also keeps everything easily accessible from your iPhone. The chocolate pots sound very interesting.
It has worked so far 🙂
